Most of the existing products do not handle multilingual content well and it leads to additional work and costs time to organize, translate and publish it during short, agile development cycles.
indoc has been created because of this pain: while developing a web-based application with very short development cycles, very limited time and resources and for a multi-lingual customer base, there was no easy solution on hand. We tried WordPress, various knowledge base and support suites and tools, but creating and updating user documentation in multiple languages during the short release cycles was really painful and we were not able to keep the documentation updated with the product release.
The product is developed by Tobias Kluge – he has been working for 20 years as software developer, project manager, product manager, scrum master, team leader, CTO and other roles in various small and medium sized companies, enterprise, startups and also as consultant. He likes to have structured processes, templates and clear documentation. On the other hand, he is focused on the result and to provide a great product and experience for the customer and end user.
